These very stylish and manly hooks were perfect for my husband's bathroom. He needed not only something to hold not only the toilet paper, but something compact on which to hang his wash cloth. It also had to go with the other fixtures in the bath. He wanted something modern and manly. This holder fit the requirements perfectly. I ordered two. They were installed by our contractor during the bathroom remodel, so I cannot speak to the instructions & assembly part. But they look great, function well, take up minimal space, and the finish matches the other brushed nickle fixtures in the bath. We are very happy!

The holder does not extend far enough from the wall. It will not hold a roll of toilet paper and allow the user to roll the paper off.
